Piping Engineer
Kuala Lumpur 

Responsibilities:

• Producing a complete technical definition of piping materials incorporating applicable code and customer requirements.
• Coordinate the work of the 3D Piping Designer
• Technically evaluate bids, participate in the vendor selection process, and coordinate with the fabricator throughout the fabrication phase of the project.
• Coordinate checking of Project Specifications and Proposal Specification Reviews.
• Keeping up-to-date with current technology developments including ASME requirements and sharing this knowledge with others.
• Contribute to  the continuous development of technical standards, policies, and procedures in this area of expertise;
• Analyzing and recommending solutions to technical problems in the piping engineering.
• Provision of Piping skill resources for technical sales support as needed by E&S Project Management for fixed price proposals, cost estimates and design basis data.
• Support for the Manager – Coordinate with the selected fabricator to ensure a sound module/skid fabrication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5-10years of experience in an engineering role in the refining, oil and gas industry
• Minimum of  5 years experience in piping design and construction
• Knowledge of ASME Mechanical / NACE/ API Piping standards
