PROJECT ENGINEER(SOUTH EAST ASIA)
Selangor - Shah Alam

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of project management encompassing project scope development, cost estimation and direct execution of projects. Examples of projects include air separation plants, hydrogen generating / purification plants, non-cryogenic PSA/VSA gas generators, specialty and cylinder gas plants, gas pipeline, etc.

• Provide leadership and direction to the business and project team members
• Perform analysis of customer requirements and preparation of technical proposals with details of work scope and cost evaluation, in support of Project Development process
• Develop effective execution strategies
• Coordinate internal engineering efforts
• Ensure implementation of project procedures including planning, direction, communication, documentation, status reporting, quality, health and safety and change control process
• Conduct risk assessment of strategic and project management factors concerning the assigned project
• Act as primary interface between the Company and the customer project team, contractors, suppliers, consultants and relevant authorities
• Identity internal and external factors jeopardizing the project and escalate issues and recommend solutions to senior management
• Manage budget, project-related cost, resources and schedule accordingly

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Civil / Chemical / Electrical and Mechanical) with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Gas, Petrochemical or related industry
• Experience in project management is required for this position
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good organization skills and dynamic by nature 
• Sound technical knowledge and  familiarity with computer based project management and systems know how would be a plus point
• Required language proficiencies : English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (spoken)
• Those with ability to read and write Mandarin would have an added advantage
• Possess a willing to learn attitude and inquisitive mind
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams
• Able to work under pressure and extended hours based on work exigencies 
• Willing to travel with possibility of travel within Asia region up to 50% of the time
