Responsibilities:

Job Summary

 

Be part of a Production Optimization Team focusing on both software and hardware production optimization whilst adhering to Quality and Safety Management policies.  Lead sales, marketing and support activities for clients in Malaysia and coordinate and mentor junior engineers.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

•          Under the supervision of the Regional Technical Manager, perform fundamental production optimization consulting studies, sales and marketing efforts and associated engineering tasks using established procedures. Such procedures will be learned via a combination of formal and on-the-job training.

 

•          Take a lead role in directing sales activities in Malaysia and maintain up to date reports on client activities and revenue potential

 

•          Offer assistance to clients with production optimization applications and equipment, which may include presentations, demonstrations and basic training in both related hardware and software.

 

•          Preparation of any associated documentation including project reports, and case summaries.

 

•          Perform software and/or equipment testing, demonstration and troubleshooting as required.

 

•          Other duties as directed

Requirements:

• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Minimum a degree in Petroleum / Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
• Strong skills in Ms Word for Windows, PowerPoint and Excel
• Some exposure to production modeling applications such as WellFlo, ReO, Pipesim, Prosper, Eclipse, etc.
• Ability (valid passport) and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Asia Pacific region.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
• Fast learner, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, following-through, willingness to help.
• Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments.
• Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Knowledge of the oil and gas service industry and production optimization in particular.
• Ability to understand the specific optimization needs of the client and where the business unit and/or company can deliver a solution.
• Excellent written and oral communication both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Malaysian Citizen or hold similiar status
• 2 Full-Time positions available.
