Our MNC Client is a leading supplier of process systems to the Oil and Gas industry with turnkey capabilities in design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

 

They specialize in the first stages of separation of oil and gas and the treatment of water and also manufacture the following oil separation products:
 

Slug Catchers

Free Water Knock-out Drums

Flow Splitters

Oil Stabilizers

 

 

Whether to design a custom fabricated item, or fabricators to produce item on-spec, on-time, and on-budget, our Client is the complete turnkey provider. They take the fabrication orders and mass produce them or provide a one-off solution and deliver it anywhere in the world.

 

Due to business expansion, there is the need to fill these roles in Malaysia (Shah Alam office) ASAP.

Project Manager and Project Engineer (experience in oil and gas industry)
Selangor

Responsibilities:

(1)      PROJECT MANAGER  

 

• Perform detailed check of the specified scope and engineering requirements of the project.
• Practise Project Execution Plan including preparing and monitoring project schedule for engineering, drafting, procurement and fabrication.
• Project liaison between clients and sub-vendors on a daily basis.
• Focal point of communication between all parties involved in the project, i.e. client, third part inspectors, sub-vendors, in-house departments.
• Coordination and expediting of project requirements through all departments and disciplines, including engineering, procurement, QA/QC and detailed involvement in all aspects of the fabrication at the workshop level, including being stationed at overseas fabrication yards for the final stages of fabrication.
• Evaluation of sub-vendor tender proposals based on technical and customer requirements with the Procurement Manager with the responsibility to give overall approval to all purchases on the project.
• Meet project delivery and budget constraints and reporting cash flow to General Manager and Project Manager.
• Quality control of projects, ensuring package is manufactured in accordance with the client specification and general fabrication standards.
• Review, verification, tracking, and overall control of all project engineering documentation.
• Address and follow up all technical/commercial issues and clarifications with client and sub-vendors.
• Update senior management (General Manager and Project Manager) regularly on project progress and report any major concerns.
• Responsible for approving all project invoices.
• Attend meetings, record and prepare minutes for review.

 

 

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Highly motivated, and able to interact efficiently and communicate with all level/parties.
• Technically inclined individual with positive mind.
• Initiative, creative, responsible, and a team player.
• Candidate should be willing to work beyond normal working hours and willing to travel.
• Minimum 10 years working experience related to Project Management, or Design engineering.
• Previous experience in similar position and knowledge in Microsoft Project is a plus
• Accountable safety, cost, quality and scheduling for projects undertaken.
• Responsible for the coordination and management of project execution from engineering, fabrication / FAT till delivery to client.

 

  (2)   PROJECT ENGINEER

•  Project liaison between clients and sub-vendors on a daily basis.

• Coordination and expediting of project requirements through all departments and disciplines, including engineering, procurement, QA/QC and detailed involvement in all aspects of the fabrication at the workshop level, including being stationed at overseas fabrication yards for the final stages of fabrication.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management
