Technical Illustrator
Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of technical drawings of tools, hook-ups and technical data sheets
• Preparation of marketing presentation material and graphics
• Cataloguing and maintaining database of drawings, presentations and customer call reports
• Liaising with internal customers and districts
• Meeting customer schedule requirements in a timely manner
• Confirming with end user that drawings are fit for purpose and meet requirements

Requirements:

     Educational Qualifications:

• College Degree in Petroleum / Mechanical or Chemical Engineering an extreme asset or
• Degree holder – Technical Drawing an advantage
• High degree of computer skills and computer literacy

     Essential Skills:

·      High level AutoCAD skills

·      Excellent PowerPoint, Excel

·      Good general computer skills

·      Good mechanical aptitude

·      Initiative (self starter)

·      Good communication skills

·      Excellent attention to detail

·      High work standards

·      Creativity and innovation

·      Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

·      Ability to learn quickly

·      Ability to work as part of a motivated team

·      Flexible approach to work hours

 

Desirable Skills

·      Previous experience in mechanical drafting (specifically oil and gas tools)

·      Freehand/Corel Draw
