Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate a commitment to Project Schedule, QA and HSSE plans. · Ensure safety work procedures and standards are adhered to consistently. · Co-ordinate with the Design Engineers and Contractor Engineers who will prepare installation analysis and procedures to be reviewed/monitored activities on a regular basis. · Interface with relevant installation subcontractors to review the status procedures and provide input when required. · Organise weekly and monthly review meetings with the Contractor to discuss progress achieved to date. · Interface with other project groups to resolve site queries which are sent to the other Project Engineers. · Discuss, analyse and resolve site issues with the engineering, procurement and expediting teams. · Ensure integration between the cost control, planning/scheduling, operations, risk management functions, updated technical and procurement documentation within the assigned project. |
Requirements:
- Senior Project Engineers must be qualified and have at least a Bachelor degree in Engineering (mechanical, structural, civil engineering or related with petroleum, oil and gas).
- Must have at least 10 years experience in oil and gas industry
- Must have experience in handling process designs, development of mechanical designs, detailed engineering process, equipment specification and procurement, equipment fabrication and assembly, testing, installation and commissioning.
- Must have experience in inspection of fabrication work, equipment assembly and supervision duties involving work of related sub-contractors.
- Must be flexible, dedicated and able to work under pressure during challenging periods to meet project deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision have the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with multidiscipline engineers to develop procedures, practices and strategies.
- Proficiency in English Language spoken and written is essential and must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
