QHSE Manager
Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

• To ensure compliance and continuous enhancement of Quality and HSE Management standards and executio in the plant. Adherence to company and legal QHSE standard requirements. 
• To drive QHSE mindset throughout the organization
• To lead a team of QHSE to perform their work according to client requirements and work procedures
• To discuss with customers on QHSE issues to verify/resolve  technical details of non conformance
• To ensure that non conformance are recorded into NCR for disposition
• To organise and manage QHSE workload allocation to meet agreed project timescales.
• To participate in engineering/project reviews to establish best solution
• To train team members on QHSE requirements
• To create and enforce QHSE mindset to all involved in the manufacturing of products
• To ensure QHSE documentation is properly prepared and in timely manner
• To write QHSE procedures for the products manufactured
• To ensure that an effective QHSE Management system is in place in accordance to International Standards (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001). 
• To comply with Regional,  Business Area and Corporate QHSE directives 
• To provide competent advice and guidance to line management to ensure Statutory and Contractual compliance obligations are met
• To be responsible for ensuring all external and internal Incident and performance reporting requirements are fulfilled 

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or other relevant field
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in QHSE environment
• In depth experience and knowledge managing QHSE function in Oil and Gas manufacturing environment.
• Registered with the local Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System Standard and Total Quality Management and Methodology
• Experience in managing a team to carry out QHSE related activities in an Oil and Gas environment. 
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Team leader with hands-on attitude
• Excellent HSE attitude
