Senior/Proposal Engineer (DMC/201301/06/SG)
West (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
Support the Proposal team on proposals through effective coordination with Sales team, agents & other business units.
Assist Proposal Manager to prepare weekly status & review with Sales team.
Develop specifications, obtain quotes, prepare bid drawings & other documents required to form a complete proposal.
Prepare cost estimation & conduct reviews with the proposal manager & sales team.
Assist Proposal Manager to review bid documents & cost estimation prepared by Proposal Engineer.
Assist in follow-up of final bid proposal submitted to Singapore based customers.
Handling over of proposal to project group on receipt of purchase order with all back-up documents.
Lead in development of process improvement.
Prepare cost estimation & conduct reviews with the Engineering team & Sales team.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Chemical,
Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical) with 6 to 9 years of working
experience in design/detail engineering of Instrumentation & Control
system; must be in Oil & Gas related industry.
Possess handling of flow measurement applications & relevant product knowledge.
Experience in cost estimation & technical write-up.
Strong Interpersonal skill with ability to lead and guide junior engineers.
A team player & a self-starter with initiative.
Certification in PMP/RMP highly preferred.
