Lead Piping PDMS / PDS Designer
Across Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reviewing Piping Designers’ piping plant layout, general arrangement drawings, pipe support design, pipe stress analysis, steam tracing arrangement, equipment layout arrangement, isometrics and other related mechanical and piping design drawings using PDMS
• Interaction with other department for clarifications on information's relevant to drawing undertaken
• Maintaining records of drawings and other documents as assigned by Chief/lead/Senior Engineer
• Overall man-hour key performance indicators for assigned work
• Approaches Supervisor to discuss training and development needs
• Prepare detail designs in conjunction with engineers
• Ensure work done conforms to the applicable specifications, codes and standards – drawing packages are delivered within the project time schedule
• Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues
• Knowledge and compliance with standard drafting procedures and drawing systems and applications
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the business sector

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 year(s) of working experience in using PDMS and PDS is required for this position
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Offshore / Onshore Oil & Gas projects
• Preferably local candidates who are ready for employment in Singapore
• Able to commit 6 months - 12 months contract, convertible to permanent position
